Flipbook

These are just 3 pics from the flipbook i made. Being a swimmer i thought it would only be fitting if i did a guy during a race......hopefully i figure out how to put all the pics together to make the quick video clip and you all can see that this isnt your ordinary swim race.

  1. I really liked your flip book! My sister is a swimmer and she liked it too! :) Just a suggestion though... maybe put some more motion into the swimmer while he's swimming- like in his arms... I duno if that would work, and I think it looks great as is!

  2. I like your little swimmer, Paul. I can see he is working hard to win this race. Great use of your own experience and incorporate it into your art creation.

  3. i liked this flip book a lot because it was very entertaining. right when you thought all you were going to see was some guy swimming back and forth you saw him get eaten by a shark. maybe just color a little more of the page to improve it.

  4. This was definitly one of my favorites. It was a simple idea that was made into a good story. I also like that you involved humor on the flip book.

  5. Haha great idea. I like the fact that you kept it fairly simple, and put everything in one 'scene', rather than having 'cuts'. Maybe putting a bit more detail into the page could help.

  6. I liked that your flip book had a smaller picture it was easier to flip through and see the animation. I also liked the theme you picked.

  9. I like how the motion is moving across the page. As in when he is diving and then he is physically in the water. I could follow it clearly. Good job

  11. I really liked this book. I swam for 8 years when I was younger so I could relate to the book. I also liked how you took something from your life and put it into the book. Lastly, I liked how just when you thought the character was in the pool a shark appears.

  12. Your flip book was very funny. I enjoyed the swim race and obviously that you think the swimmer is just going to win the race but then the shark comes after him and actually becomes the winner. It was great!

  13. I love stick figures! No really, as complicated as I do with my work simplistic things are totally cool for me. You find more humor in that because it's simple and not trying to boggle your mind. Especially when it comes to flip books, I liked the swimmer and just how you used lines for your animation, reminiscent of traditional animations without all the other stuff. I liked it.

Oh yes the shark, you so got brownie points because of the shark.
